Here is a movie that tries to be serious, but ends up being unintentionally funny from start to completion. In fact, Yeh Dooriyan a kind of movie you can see just to derive some pleasure from watching the players to make a complete fool of himself, his mouth lines that are as down right stupid as you want them to be preserved for posterity.

Actress Deepshikha makes his directorial debut with a film that is apparently autobiographical, and has already appeared in an abridged version of a TV reality show. But for those of you who have not seen voyeuristic television shows, perhaps Yeh Dooriyan team interest. Not as a look-a-boo in the actor’s personal life, but as a TCH-TCH (sorry) tale of the situation of divorced people, single mothers in our society that the film says, is `available ‘, but is not qualified in the eyes of men with Martinet mothers.

Yeh Dooriyan It is written, produced and directed by its lead actress Deepshikha makes you suspect it may end up as a vanity parade of a woman with money to burn, but a lot to learn. Truth be told, it comes pretty close to it.

The whole concept of a divorced woman who falls in love with a younger guy, and meet resistance from the community oozes corniness aims to arouse sympathy and compassion for her, and Deepshika surely revel in playing the role of a beautiful, successful, sexy but lonely woman any man would covet and pine.

One thing that makes this film different is its climax, which is still hard to digest for a conservative society. Deepshikha should be applauded for her courage to take the question about being a divorced parent. She stands on the issue and looks convincing in the ultimate sequence and is the USP of the film. Yeh Dooriyan celebrates femininity and presents the new era of independent woman, in a courageous manner. She should be commended for it. Rate this movie will depend on your social outlook.
