Indian railway E-ticketing Will booked BY SMS
Indian Railways have a revolutionary step by providing passengers with an e-ticket facility on their mobile phones. The railways have done away with the normal printing, reducing paper waste and increase convenience for people.
This unique facility was launched by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee yesterday on a program in Kolkata.
The mobile phone ticket booking system called as "m-tickets" would allow customers booked tickets through mobile phones to get.
Customers are required to Mobile App to download the new Indian Railways Portal URL Indianrailways.gov.in. This portal was launched by the Indian Railways for all services and information in a single window web interface for the public to consolidate.
Mobile Reservation Message (MRM) are issued to customers paying the required fees. Indian Railways bear all costs of the MRM IR web portal. This facility is 0:30 to 11:30 daily.
