Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna awarded to Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Another recognition for the Indian Cricket Team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni awarded Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award on friday. His father Mr. Paan Singh recieved this honour on the behalf of his son because Mahendra Singh Dhoni were busy in making another history in Sri Lanka.

He was the second cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar who got Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. Because of his cool mind even in crunch situation he brought the 20-20 World cup in India, not only that he also beat Australia in Australia after long time and now his team beat Sri Lanka in his guidance in one day bi-lateral series.

No doubt Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the best captain of Indian Cricket Team and he deserve this kind of recognition in the country where Cricket is another religion.

Dhyan Chand award: Hakam Singh (Athletics), Mukhbain Singh (Hockey), Gian Singh (Wrestling).

Dronacharya award: Sanjeeva Kumar Singh (Archery), Jagdish Singh (Boxing), G E Sridharan (Volleyball), Jagminder Singh (Wrestling).
