The Calvin Klein Show

I really liked the Calvin Klein show.

I loved the shades and textures of grays - shiny, matte, fuzzy/furry, thick/thin, long and short.

There were also so many great pleated-back details in this collection. Though they don’t read very well on the Style.com photos because they are all from the front.

This look is a good example.

The collar draping creates beautiful deep pleats (modern Watteau pleats, how's that for costume history!) that runs down her back. In the bottom photo, you can see what I'm talking about in the background image.

Combine that to the perfect chocolate/gray color combo, and this is one of my favorite looks of the season.

I just found this Watteau-pleat illustration, see what I mean?
