On The Street...Mr. Wilcox of Lord Willy's, Nolita

One of the smartest strategies that Mr. Wilcox ,owner of Lord Willy's, has implemented since opening his Nolita shop is using "vintage" fabrics for their tailored jackets.

The "vintage" fabrics ,like the hopsack jacket Mr. Wilcox is wearing, usually only allows for a limited production run (sometimes less than 10 jackets are made).

This really only works for a company with their own retail outlets but it does offer the potential for a whimsical variety of color, patterns and fabrications which seems to be the whole idea behind Lord Willy's anyway.
